#75 Years of Innovation

Becoming a global player - 1981-2004

In the 1980s and 1990s Lödige Industries successfully completed numerous projects in Germany, the USA, Great Britain and Asia, especially in the field of air freight logistics.  Another focal point during this period were the first automatic parking systems, which were introduced in 1992 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and in 1995 in Duderstandt, Germany. In 1999, the British Airways World Cargo Centre at Heathrow was completed. At the time this was the largest and most modern air freight terminal in the world. In the early 2000s Lödige opened a new office in Hong Kong and thus expanded its market presence in Asia.
