From car lift to fully automatic parking system - more than 75 years of innovation

Even before the company was founded, the talented brothers of the Lödige family designed a lifter for automobiles and applied for a patent for it as early as 1938. However, it was to take several years before car lifts were mass-produced in our factory.

Since the beginning of the nineties, automatic parking systems have also formed a growing branch of the company's business. In 2021, Germany's largest system with a total of 285 fully automatic parking spaces was handed over for the MIZAL Campus in Düsseldorf. In Europe's largest project in Aarhus, Denmark, even around 1,000 vehicles can be parked automatically on three underground levels. Since opening in 2015, almost two million parking operations have been completed smoothly. In total, Lödige Industries has implemented more than 60 systems worldwide.

Urban regions in particular are characterised by a high demand for space for parked cars. With our automatic parking systems, we offer space-saving alternatives for individual buildings or entire neighbourhoods to park up to 60 percent more cars with the same space requirement and charge e-vehicles at the same time. In this way, we free up space for green areas or other uses.
